Do you love yourself?

What do you think about yourself? Do you love yourself entirely? And accept your flaws?

Not really, no. I have a lots of flaws, and overall, I could do more to improve myself: physically and mentally. But at least I'm honest enough to realize that and not pretend like I'm happy with myself when I know I do or be more.

As for what do I love about myself? How far I've come in life and accomplished: from my weight loss, to my education and career.
Do I accept my flaws? Yeah, but I'm actively working to improve some of them (ie: I hate my weight and appearance, so I exercise and work on my food intake).

I don’t like how I look physically and I don’t like where I am in life and how I’m treated. That doesn’t mean I hate myself either. Also, no. I don’t accept my flaws. Because my flaws are hurtful that I keep healing and treat my wounds daily.

Absolutely. Even tho I am perfectly aware of my flaws and problems, I accept them, and try my best to conquer them.

No one is perfect, we all have flaws, and as long as you accept them and always try to be the best version of yourself, you should be happy with yourself. Of course, easier said than done, but with some practice, both mental and physical, one should learn to enjoy themselves to the fullest.

For example when you feel you are not succesful How can you motivate yourself? I feel very bad after when i can not succeed in something. I feel worthless.

I just try even harder. I go by simple logic really - If I try, I can succeed, if I don't try, I cannot succeed.

No, while I objectively know I have worth and positive attributes, as well as shortcomings and flaws that are part of what makes me me. My inability to find a loving relationship and lack of intimacy with anyone through my rapidly advancing years have convinced me there must be something wrong with me and am therefore unworthy of love.

Did you feel like this when you were a child? For example because of your teachers, friends, or family? I think the lack of self love can be about traumatic events when we were children. For example, i have them. So that is why i have difficulty in loving myself.

I don't think so, just gradual realisation as my friends all started to get paired off with partners and I was left behind, reached the conclusion that it must be me and I'm for some reason a failure as a human being.

I'm not sure about loving myself, but I'm quite happy with what life has dealt me.
Yes, I have flaws - I would prefer to be perfect of course, but I have no choice but to accept them and they have minimal impact on my life.

Al hamdulillaah, from my understanding to Islam and what Allaah the almighty want me to do and or not to do, and from life experience, I understand that what i need the most is to love myself and to take care of myself. And as soon as I started doing that my entire life changed to the best and I feel more close to Allaah the almighty.

I am not sure. I look at what I have accomplished in my life and think that I accomplished a lot but I see what others have done and I feel like I have somehow fallen short.

Do you think the most succesful people in the world love themselves? I know many people who are very succesful but feel worthless. So, there is no link between them, if you do not believe so.

I feel that I love myself. At times I do dislike something about me, like the feeling of loneliness. But I know that I haven't hurt anyone knowing, so I think I'm a good person.
