My wife of 10 years had a 6 month affair with her garbage friends loser ass brother.
I learned a lot...

1st, they will ALWAYS have an excuse as to why it wasn’t their fault or why it wasn’t “cheating”.

They will blame you, the past, another person, a substance (like alcohol), or situation for making them “weak”... but they almost NEVER admit that they made selfish decisions because they were greedy and had no respect for the person that loved them, they did things methodically and maliciously over a period of time for their selfish wants, manipulating and lying to you and others, all so that they could have their fun while keeping you around so that they can decide who they like more and pick when they are done.

2nd, It shows that they are capable of and very willing to...

-lie to your face without remorse Repeatedly
-deceive you maliciously w/o remorse
-be disgustingly sexual with someone else
-live a double life easily w/o effort
-hurt you w/o remorse or regret
-turn everyone against you without issue
-play victim when they are caught
-become a completely different person
-lie about you and anything they have done to protect their image.

3rd, It will NEVER be the same again.

The person you thought they were has been destroyed forever. Even if it was who they used go be, they destroyed that person by becoming what they did. ONCE a cheater ALWAYS a cheater.

Even if you can repair and move on, they will lose that special spark you used to see in them and it will never come back.

Yes, You can love the new person they are but that person you thought was perfect died when they hurt you the way they did.

** The had to be in another relationship and fuck someone else to “discover” that you were good enough. This says volumes. You knew that you loved them, you were loyal to them... they meant more to you, than you did to them.

Like a piece of paper, once crumpled can never be perfect again.

It can still be a functional piece of paper but the crispness it had is forever lost.

Compared to all the other bullshit women do... figure out if this one does less bullshit than the others and if the level of bullshit they do is less than the bullshit she did... you might as well work through it... because unlike her, you know the value of the person you had and even if she reduced that value by what she did, learning some new females issues and garbage isn’t worth the hassle. Just stick to what you know and be very vigilant going forward.

Learning that almost all women are the same in this regard was the hardest pill. They can't be loyal.
They are only loyal while it suits them.

Just know that not all women are like that, just as not all men are cheaters. One of my husband's best friends went through a similar situation. It was heart wrenching to all the wives of his friends.

I know there are unicorns out there whoch is whyI said almost all women and not ALL women but in my experience, 100% of women cheat.
