Clearly, that person was and still is my mother.

I mean, she is the one that was there for me since second 0 of my life. She is the one that accompanied me the longest from my days as a newborn until now. By no means do I want to give a lesser role to my dad but my mom is the one that was there for me when I hurt myself, she was the one that helped me most with my homework as a kid, she is the one that prepared my food and the one that stood by my side when I was sick while my dad was working.

She is the one that taught me right from wrong and good from bad. She is the one I can look up to and so is my dad.

that would probably be my best and closest (for the longest time too) friend since age 12...

not so much that "she changed me" rather, we grew up together and went through many if not all changes in earlier/mid life...

but she definitely was one to get to know me, in a way that it is impossible for me to know myself and about myself, you know... the actual outer perspective, so her input and her point of view was definitely a game changer for my own introspection, it only enhanced it

I'd say it's my best friend. I feel like I was always a negative person and although I had ideas of what I wanted to do, I never acted on them much. My friend always talked business and made it exciting talking about it. He was always positive about everything. Although my bad habits haven't left entirely, I'd say he was definitely a huge impact over the years. He understands me better than anyone as well.

I would say my favourite friend was a girl who was in my life for 18 years cause she offered emotional stability for me at a time where my life was in crises. She did not really teach me too many things, but she was fulfilled therapeutic functions in my life through her 18 year period of unconditional support and love. We are no longer friends but that is fine since I can make new friends and we live very far away from each other now.
