That's what I'm thinking now after reading the comments below this 'MyTake'.
Because Apparently Sexism is a "Personal Problem"
The commenters clearly have entrenched positions, they're talking past each other and not to each other, and the whole thing is just a mess. The comments section I mean, not the actual 'MyTake'. How about we just acknowledge the (to me obvious) fact that each of the two genders have problems/issues specific to their gender, and that recognition of the one does not equal negation of the other.

We will never be able to understand each other. But we can come to a middle ground. I think we should focus in that, rather than fully understand each other.

No because humans need companions also from the other gender from time to time. I think though it's hard humanity and in particular families need men and women to come together.
Yes it's hard and we guys often sound harsh or distant. Yes it's exhausting but I think the main problem is that people mostly communicate online.
A comment section on here is an echo chamber it's less about talking with another but rather talking at each other.
That's one of the key problems of social media in general.
That way especially guys develop less social skills.
If getting to know each other happened offline without being a taboo I think things would be going more smoothly.

The mistake is thinking that there is something universal in each gender to understand.

You can't "understand men" because there is no universal way men think, and I can't "understand women" for the same reason.

However, I can understand some women, who I agree with on things. And you can understand some men, who agree with you on things. The same goes for me understanding men or you understanding women.

People are individuals, this whole men vs women thing needs to stop.

Well that's a great question. I think it would go a long way toward helping close the cavernous divide that exists between the sexes today if more women could actually admit that. So many women have been playing the victim game for so long now that they don't know any other way. When it comes to recognizing privilege and injustice, western society is extremely gynocentric right now.

It all depends on what you mean about going your own separate ways. At times yes, but in general no. I mean there comes a time in every relationship where you measure the pros and cons... but you have to just accept some things about the other person in order to make it work, so I would not just say forget it. But there are some major things that you just have to give up on if you can not come to terms with them.

Its a polarizing issue due to biology and natural circumstances. It can only be resolved under a patriarchy or matriarchy (in theory since this doesn't every really happen). The issues are ones where you cannot split the baby. Either mens logic needs to be the foundation of society or womens emotion needs to be the foundation of society. A mix is not coherent to anyone and just in general people really hate stuff that doesn't make sense. The compromise on driving left and driving right at a fork in the road is crashing into a tree. This is what's going on right now in society is crashing into a tree. Its not pleasant for really anyone.

Nope, I am more than happy with other genders and don’t have a problem.

As @NathanDavis says why make personal decisions on what others have problems with / struggle with.

If anything, better acceptance would help.

I think it’s less about genders and more about ideology and polarized world view. My female friends and family I can relate to because we have common ground. A lot of political takes and opinions I read and watch with people on the other side, no matter how hard I try I just can’t understand their point of view.

I go by a simpler approach.
If i understand women, then great.
If i don't, then that's fine, some women don't understand themselves. Some never do.
I love women regardless.
And i stay away from the inadequately freaky women. Toxicity has no room in my personal vicinity.

There are lots of entrenched people on GAG but in real life you can meet others that aren't and there are those that aren't on GAG too. But coming on here will make you feel that men and women should just go their own way.
