Is this true, can we feel the feelings of others and they feel us?

I read about... two persons was in love and they never talk to each other, but their hearts was happy cause of (the exchange of souls).
If I have sincere feelings of love for a person, does he feel me and we never talk, that is, (the exchange of souls) Is that true?
And here's what I wonder about too, how would I feel for the person I love if he has feelings for me while we never talk.
