Have you ever been in a state of Limerence?

I think another name for that would be puppy love. Sometimes when I'm dating a new girl I get a strong feeling like ahh, she's going to be the puzzle piece that fits, the girl that will be with me and my wife and there won't be any prickly edges!
Luckily I'm older now, so I get that feeling more rarely and it lasts for much less time. Generally it's when I receive the puppy love that I start falling deep into that rabbit hole.
Happened to me once. Hasn’t happened since. It was just about the suckiest most gruesomely horrible… yet absolutely most teachable moment in my life 👌🏻 Can’t say I enjoyed it while it happened, but the knowledge I gained through that experienced helped me become what I am now. I learned self respect and that open a window to new opportunities for me to grow as a person
Yeah and it sucks, try to put him out of my mind... doesn't work, don't think about it, doesn't work. Avoid him and don't talk to him, I suffer... yep, it stinks.
Not really but I do get little crushes on people (some are just nonromantic friend crushes)

Yes however they started it and wanted it more with me
I dated somebody that I just could not get enough of. I used to count the hours until I saw her again. She wore this perfume and my car would smell like it for a coupe of days after. It would drive me crazy.
No But I’m sure plenty of Killers have that Limerence going on.
No. The only intrusive thoughts are those how to become number one in their heads.
I mean I have bpd so yes
Yeah I get that way more often with a new person I'm dating than I care to admit
No I have not
that’s pretty much stalking
@Kaneki05 stalking can be simply following someone excessively on social media, unwanted WhatsApp messages, checking what a person is doing etc.
it does not need to be a person physically following a person.
When one person has limerence for another, then starts excessively following things on social media etc, it’s stalking.

The counselling centre I worked at would have various people referred to it for this.
It’s a very fine line from infatuation and when it impacts negatively on the other person.
I get it myself, and seen many with it. Comparing us to stalkers is just incorrect but sure whatever you say. Appreciate you see us as that. I love been compared to as such. And again stalker is way more extreme which just furthers my point you don't actually understand what that is.
@Kaneki05 no that is the police definition, it does not have to be extreme
That’s the point of it, it’s unwanted attention occurring more than once.
Nothing about how extreme it is.
As soon as it impacts the other person and causes them to have to make changes to normal usual life, including watching what they post on social media, when there is an element of harassment, which can be a number of things, again including social media.
One of the major problems with stalking is people say it must be extreme, which is wrong as it’s the impact on the person, which the person doing the unwanted contact does often not appreciate.
So under this definition would a boss giving you a hard time be stalking? Because it is "it’s unwanted attention occurring more than once." I think you'll find this defination is very vague and your point just makes everything stalking. hell it could be unwanted attention if I just saw a girls post but it wasn't aimed for me lol.
@Kaneki05 no that’s potential harassment, which is why both sit in same place with Crown Prosecution Service.
It is a very vague law, been through it with an ex and getting a restraining order.
It also does not have to be against the person directly, it can be by proxy by them doing it against someone known to the individual such as a family member.
I’ve dealt with both sides of it and as a Demi have to be aware of it.
Also the link is a good resource for info etc on Limerence.

So yup you are saying everything is stalking then or "Protentional stalking" Lol with them kinda thoughts I dunno how you get into any relationship without been afraid that just them simply looking on your account might make them a full blown stalker.
Oh well, hope you meet and make friends with people who have limerence to realise there not all evil stalkers just set out to harass people. Because we are quite common and many of us are just good people with hard feelings. But maybe the sad part is you will just never get that.
@Kaneki05 Because you are biased, and never ever will admit when you're wrong. Let's see if the bias changes and you call it stalking when I message you, even after you blocked me saying "evidence lol".

And our recent conversation is still public for all to see https://uncensorable.github.io/Blind-Gay-Idiots/
