You don't HAVE to be a red to have redheaded kids. My ex-sister is a blonde and her hubby is kind of a dirty blonde and they had a redhead. No one else in his family or mine was a red. My uncle had dark hair and married a blonde and one of their boys was a red.

My ex partner WAS a redhead and considering her genes, any potential daughters WOULD have been ginger! So it does not bother me one bit.

Not at all, my first girlfriend is/was a redhead and I would have been happy to have kids if they were healthy which is unlikely looking at everything wrong with me, I couldn't do that to any potential offspring

There's a chance for that even if she isn't a red head. I was redhead as a baby for some reason but I grew out of it.
