If you were abroad, arranged to meet up with your partner, but then they cancelled becuase they are going on a trip with friends, how would you feel?

If you’d been abroad for a month and arranged to meet your partner the day after you come back. Then a few days before you are due back they say that they can’t make it because they will be going on a last minute trip with friends for about a week. How would you feel, would it bother you or not?

I'd be fucking pissed, and frankly would probably break up unless there's a real fucking good reason not to (e. g. it was actually a trip to bury a relative - in which case tell me where and I'll meet you there).

That's a clear indication that person doesn't value our relationship. If anything, that he booked a last minute trip knowing when I'd be returning and having promised to meet me is an indication he is AVOIDING me.

So I'll save him the trouble. We'd be broken up before I land at home.
