I know it's stupid and pathetic, I know that better than anybody, but I still can't shake the feeling.
She basically cheated on him with his best friend, they are now getting married and he is apparently very successful in his job and buys her lots of things. She sounds like a real user, and my boyfriend said that she would always spend his money when they were together. I find myself checking their social media all the time, making myself more angry.
It just infuriates me, she also treated him very badly in a lot of other ways, constantly messaging other guys, refusing to let him go when he didn't want to be with her (because she obviously hadn't yet found 'better' in her eyes), but now she just gets to walk off in to the sunset with a rich type of guy that she has always wanted?
I don't care about that side of things with my boyfriend, I love him and I always make sure that we are equal in the relationship and I treat him as much as he treats me.
What also bothers me is that I feel she is more attractive than me. She is very small and petite, with a fairly pretty face and blonde hair. I am brunette, taller, with more of an hourglass figure. I have always been jealous of petite girls because they don't have to watch their weight because they are naturally slim and always will be.
Now he ALWAYS tells me that he finds me much more attractive and she was never his type, and that he much prefers brunette, curvy girls with bigger boobs. But as silly as it sounds, I DO believe him but I don't care what he thinks. It's how she makes me feel.
The ultimate thing that bothers me is that she treated him SO badly, and now she gets to walk off unscathed and if anything, in a much better position in life. He was left with nothing because of her.
Please, don't judge. As I said, I already know that I am being ridiculous.
