For sure. My first toxic ex made me develop jealousy issues which has been an issue in my relationships but I've managed to work on them a lot. By the way, if when telling you about her he called her beautiful and stuff I would say that crosses the line. But if he was respectful about it, remember he chose you. He wants to be with you for a reason, and he ended the relationship with her for a reason. As long as he isn't hung up on her, the past is in the past. I went to a therapy session to work on jealousy, and have had many open conversations with my boyfriend. I'd recommend the same for you, you'll get there :)
He never said she’s beautiful to me, I acknowledge that because she is… she’s like a model, tall blond blue eyes.. beautiful 🤷🏻♀️. Now the only reason we talked about her is because we had my friend over for dinner and my friend asked him about his job and his ex. He didn’t want to talk about it but my friend kept pushing him. Anyway, thank you! I think your advise is a great advice. Maybe this is something within myself I have to learn to deal with and therapy could be a good start💗
Well that's great then that he didn't want to talk much about it, shows great respect for you. Honestly I understand your feelings all too well, but I nearly ruined my relationship with irrational jealousy and it was not worth it. It is an internal struggle, but we can manage it. Keep discussions open with your boyfriend, it helps to have their reassurance and love too. You got this.
A lot of people date their holly wood like fantasy person in their first connection and than after getting dumped, date less attractive people to guard themselves from getting hurt. I’ve seen this many times and I would assume these people learn to be content with their new partners.
And this is why I don't talk much about my ex's other than they were great partners during the time and place and I'm ready to start a new. And leave it at that. >w< I keep the details to myself just to avoid exactly what OP is explaining. XD.
Stop being a downer be happy he is with you no reason to be jealous of her he picked you to be you're the winner she is the loser if you don't stop the over thinking you will be the next loser
Thank you! Your words really moved me. Thank you for the great advice. 🧡

my only boyfriend we are each others first after that i don't have a boyfriend so i really cannot relate. i'm still looking for q boyfriend maybe somedat
Yes simple, when those thoughts begin creeping up. Remind yourself he chose to be with you and not her.
Yeah I’ve felt that way. But he’s with me not her I see no evidence that he’s still crushing on her so I don’t really let it get to me.
I hope so... guys don't mention them to make you feel secure or better about things...
Not ex girlfriend but ex best Friend bc she is like different
Yeah. Like she's gorgeous and my ex constantly pointed that out.
