Have you ever withhold saying “I love you” to your partner because you think/feel they might feel pressured by the meaning it those words? If so, do you regret not saying it? How do you deal with those emotions? (Like sometimes, just his presence makes me feel so lucky and happy, I just feel like hugging him, kissing him and tell him how much I love him but I’m afraid how he would react. Especially because I get submerged in this emotions at random moments, I’m afraid telling him out of the blue and that he might feel pressured)

Actually this is kinda opposite. I said it because they had already been saying it and I felt pressured. I regretted it after saying it because I knew I didn’t mean it.
I don't know what's up with the old guys talking about saying "I love you" to be a bad thing. If you really love him, then just say it but also tell him he doesn't have to say it back. Like if you are cuddling one time just say, "you don't have to say it back but, I love you"
If you genuinely love your partner, you never do that; it's inconceivable and insane to do such a thing.

Yeah, we’re not official but he’s said I love you and we used to say it a lot but things have been kinda rocky lately and I’m not sure if it’s even appropriate for me to say it anymore…

i haven't heard those words in decades. i've said it to my significant other but i hadn't heard it from anyone in a really long time especially from another woman
