Dogs are loyal, and loveable but ALWAYS want attention. While cats are more independent.
Do you think dog owners are more caring and cat owners more selfish?

Both animals are incredibly caring, they simply show it differently. Dogs will often remind you of their love every minute of every day. Cats will often remind you when you expect it the least.

Generally speaking of course, plenty of exceptions to both cases. If it tells you anything about their owners, it's more likely to be how fast paced they live and attached they become in my opinion.
