Why do you think some women get lucky and find Mr. Right early on (or within a reasonable age)? While others never find him, if at all?

It can be luck, or they focus on what is more important.
Some go for just guys that are good looking, but some may not have the best personalities, or goals in life, while others seek that over looks.

Well, meeting the right person can be totally random, but maybe they are successful because they prioritize it and have realistic expectations as well as a larger pool of men to choose from.

So I'm still sad because I don't know why, I was doing a lot of the same things as other women, but with not so much success. Sorry, I hope that didn't come out as an angry comment earlier lol.

Instead, what I got, was a manipulative, ABUSIVE man, that was 8 years my senior with a divorce, a baby mama, drug, alcohol and anger issues :( Now I find out that he has just been arrested for assault and robbery. ... Yeah, you can say it. My desparation in my early 30's of wanting a relationship (or a man to love me), didn't help!

Started getting serious with dating around 26. Tried online and a lot of the guys there were VERY picky (I think a guy rejected me just because I wasn't the make up wearing type, or he was just a jerk mama's boy or I was the wrong race. I'm not Mexican and he was a light skinned guy with roots from Spain. Eh, he wasn't that attractive anyway lol. I was 27 then.). 28, lost my virginity to a one night stand (yes, I was going through SO much in terms of self esteem and where my life was headed so please don't blame me. At least not completely lol). 29, I was with a guy, 6 years my senior I met online. He was ALSO a stupid, immature man who locked himself with video games, not to mention he SUCKED in bed lol. We wouldn't have worked anyway. I was like a 98 lbs. Asian woman at that age. He was an almost 200 lbs fat white dude. = (. By 30, I was working, not at the Pizza shop anymore, but now at a local retail pharmacy as a clerk. Had an accidental one night stand again with a man I met online (yes protection was used lol). But, I didn't know he was a playboy jerk and had another side piece so that was the end of that! 31 I didn't really meet anyone. 32, like I said, I met my ex fiance. 40 years old with a chinese ex wife, a drug and alcohol addiction and some anger issues! Abusive too... But yeah, I stayed with him... for almost two years too. I was horny (he was awesome in bed) because I was in love already... but I realized yeah, we were probably incompatible unfortunately because I like I said before, I wanted to be his first EVERYTHING, especially the having a kid part... but that woman already beat me to it! We argued A LOT because of his past. Even physically. So I think it IS better that we went our separate ways.

Life Lessons learned: Life tests you a lot. LOVE tests you as well..
