Seems to me that situation would dissolve animosity pretty quickly. Survival often depends on being able to help each other, and as long as the burying the hatchet in the enemy rather than in each other's scalp prevails, survival potential is increased.
Also to be considered; love and hate are similar states of emotional arousal. Indifference is the opposite of both love and hate. For that reason, I'd stick with someone who hates me and one I hate rather than sticking with someone who is indifferent to me and vice versa.
You would have to, and when it comes down to basic survival you might find that the things you hate about someone are petty and insignificant

It depends. I do not have to like a person to trust them.
The real issue would be if I could trust that person or not. Can they hold their own? Can they work in a team? Can they admit when they do not know how/are not capable of a task and put their pride aside to let me do the task if I am able? Can I trust them not to kill me in my sleep? Would this person actually increase my odds of survival or would they make survival harder?
If the answer to those questions is satisfactory to me, then I can work with them to survive even if I hate their guts. The military taught us to work with people we may hate to get the mission done. It is ok to hate each other, but not ok to sabotage each other.
Dang good question. This might have won best GAG question in GAGs 20 year history. I wanna say no I wouldn't but knowing how much I fear death I think I could put our differences aside and yes stick with my enemy if they were the last person on Earth.

I did a 48 day work project alone in a desert with no communication or way to talk to anyone the entire time. I wouldve died had I not taken care of myself the way I did. As a teen was also homeless alone for close to a year, did fine. I haven't lived with a girlfriend in close to 6 years and at this point I never bring girlfriends into my house. Trust me. I can be alone just fine. Men are not like women. We dont have this nonstop need to goof around and hang out with friends.
