Are guys scared of older brothers when dating a girl?

Ive dated a couple of men and they all seem to be the same way. I am the only girl and have 3 brothers.Two of them live with me and the oldest is married. Why is it though?..

Every time, like yesterday a guy I'm dating went through the back door and took me out that way, one thing for sure is that two of my bro's where by the front door. The only reason I find as to why is that they get scared to see my older bro's?

I think a lot of guys are scared of brothers and fathers of girls they like. And a lot of times, it's for good reason. My boyfriend's younger sister HATES bringing anyone she's seeing around him, because he's like the epitome of the 'scary big brother' type haha, and he acts like it too. He's really protective of her. I think a lot of guys are like that with their sisters, especially if she's their only sister. But he's the same way with his mama. You do NOT talk badly about his mom, if you value your life, lol. And he's definitely going to be the 'scary father' type too when his daughter starts dating. I certainly don't envy what she's going to go through with that, haha.

My ex's were since my brother is a 3rd degree black belt in TKD, is a TKD instructor, trains in Krav Maga and does MMA. Plus he goes paintballing every weekend so they're scared of him. But my current boyfriend isn't scared of him, theyre like best friends.

that should actually make them feel better because unless your brother is a huge showoff a**hole I'm sure he only uses violence as a last resort as is usually the case with experienced martial artists

Yeah, most guys are. Fathers and brothers gain a great deal of self-satisfaction from scaring the living Hell out of their daughter or sister's man. It can either be because they are genuinely afraid he will hurt you and drag you down, or just because it's so gosh darn fun and they are so vulnerable. Usually it's both.

Men also know that their date's father will assume, correctly or, less often, otherwise, that all he wants to do is get in his little girl's pants. So they will walk into your home expecting to come under fire from all angles.
