I have to see the girl he cheated with?

HI, so a question. My boyfriend cheated on me, the lied about it, and now I have to see the girl he cheated on me with next week. By now she know that he was still seeing me while they started dating, but they are still together.

So i am unsure now how to handle seeing her and talking to her. We do have to work together a bit (he will be there too but i'm just going to ignore him completly). But I don't know yet how to act/react to here. What is your experience with this or how would you handle it?

I completely get your concern but there’s not much you can do. I’d say to just do your job and go home. Don’t talk to either of them unless you absolutely have to, and ignore her just as you plan to ignore them. What you don’t want is to see you looking hurt, upset, angry, etc. because they don’t deserve to see you going through that. Act normal, smile with other coworkers and just leave it like that. Because of how they got together, they will not work in the end, and they’ll have both lost a great person for nothing.

Don't force a smile or friendliness though. Be straightforward and formal.

That's fucked up... yeah I've dealt with it as well. I was always super pissed off, and a fight would always break out. I went on a cheating spree and I was fucking like 2 or 3 different chicks a week. I eventually seen change and women are a headache so I finally called the score even. Not the best way to handle shit, but it taught her a fucking lesson. Cheat on me while I was being faithful, and I'll get you back X28ish or so... some of the girls got poked way more than once.

He is the organiser of an event I have been voluneering for years, she's a volunteer there too. I enjoy the event, much of the core people there have become like a second family and it doesn't feel right that his fuck ups cost me my fun there with people that I care about.

That would be my feeling too, if I were the other girl I would have ended it, our relationship would have been build off a lie. Cheating is unforgiving, then lying about cheating even more. Its not like we were sharing our relationship with everyone, but we had the talk that we were exclusive and that there wouldn't be anyone else.
