I practice jiujitsu/MMA and I'm becoming a lawyer because I like fighting and I'm extremely comfortable with confrontation (I don't take any kind interpersonal hostility personally, that's a big part of the job for lawyers), but the thought of bringing that kind of mentality into my personal relationships terrifies me. I've attained inner peace, and I'm very zen-like in many ways. I have to be very careful about who I let into my life, because people who bring me strife would only serve to destroy my personal life.
