Is there a way to ask a married woman to hang out even as friends, but what if there are work complications?

I met her at a conference, and I really wish she was single. Our interaction was friendly, casual, we talked more for a second time at an after-party later on, she wanted to exchange phone numbers (for work reasons likely), so we've texted a little bit. I feel like I'd rather be her friend than not, but maybe this is a bad thing to do to myself emotionally?

She is a producer at a significant media outlet... so for work reasons I really can't make her dislike me... so it's all very complicated. Plus I dunno, maybe that's weird like saying hey, I was thinking of coming in to the city and going to a museum, do you want to tag along... sounds like a date, so dunno, even asking to meet up to eat, I don't know.
