someone said they are serving me papers. because they said I sound like a stalker cause I was talking about my ex blocking me on fb after his girlfriend had the baby. He knows my address and I have no recollection of him.

But, yes, in the U. S. you can serve anyone with a lawsuit at any time, under basically any circumstances.
