Not really, things can happen even if you dont want them to. Life long commitment, if you think of it, sounds difficult but it doesn't mean you dont want it or aim to have a ltr. There's couples take it one day at a time yet end up married for 25 years.
I think honestly there’s no such thing as commitment issues if you don’t think realistically of “always” as a possibility for your couple.
Personally, I think nothing can be for “always”. People and sentiments can change during time so there’s always the possibility of a decrease in sentiments and love. I think it’s hypocritical and illusory telling a person “I love you always”, since it’s impossible the sentiments will be stable all life.
I'd rather write... "Love You, Regardless..."
and she would ge the joke... lol
