The meaning of commitment , within a relationship, differs from person to person. One person may feel the ultimate level of commitment is getting married , another person may not. What does commitment mean to you?

It means willing to build and work on a promising future together. To not crawl back or drop them if things get a little harder or emotional. To be there for them no matter when. To be able to endure emotional stress because you simply love each other.
To show that you really care and truly love them by showing this with words and acts which can be done in a lot of ways.
You simply make sure that they happy and safe. That you’re together and make them feel loved.
Commitment doesn’t have to be marriage or showing the outside world about your determination of holding onto this person. It is a very rare and valuable feeling within yourself that you only want your partner to feel/have the essence of. So as long as they are connected to the feelings you have for them, there comes a strong will to commit to them and spend your life with taking then into account what I previously said. A true relationship based on a strong, caring emotional and physical bond.
Thank you for mho 🙈😇
Depends on what we both agree on. Before the conversation each might be doing their own thing but at sometime if it is to be a serious relationship the magic questions have to be asked. Date whom ever until it comes up but more importantly do what make you feel good.
It's like a contract. for ne Commitment means we agree on something and we both will obey it. things like we don't have sex with other people. We don't lie and we don't hide anything from each other.
Commitment means even being in a relationship to me. You want to spend time with a person and be exclusive to them, unless an open relationship has been discussed beforehand.
I refer to alchemy compatibility is it to work out u don't require one I fancied someone did I? I'm as happy within and less-without

Commitment is giving yourselves entirely to each other... marriage is a gesture of that but in itself has nothing to do with commitment... commitment is supposed to come before marriage and is either there or not regardless of marriage
In terms of a partner? Honestly not something I've thought about since before my divorce.
As a parent? Doing my best as a father at all times.
Commitment intangible, a mindset, marriage is a contract for the tangibles. They can both exist without the other being true.
