Have you accepted your singleness?

I read this on G@G quite a bit. Guys and girls both lamenting thier unhappiness with thier relationship status as single. The presumption is "Everyone else is in a relationship and getting thier needs met so, so should i". But the reality is, most people in relationships just pretend like everything is fine. Most people in relationships are just as unhappy as you single people. I'm no different than a lot of you people I don't necessarily want to be single. But I realize that relationships don't just HAPPEN they take effort on both parties part. I'm not exactly excited about the prevailing actions of the opposite gender as a whole. But I accept the reality of it. I don't think ANYONE should define thier happiness by other people. What say you?

When I say "accept your singleness" I don't mean you've given up! I simply mean you're at peace with being single

Yes and No... keep working it... keep trying with a realization that it is on God's Time and ultimately the vertical with God is more important than the horizontal. Both are important although functionally they fulfill differently. "To Be"

Accepting failure is one thing, but to acknowledge you are one and are going to stay that way doesn't sound all that peaceful.

Thanks yeah being single in itself is okay, but I indeed read it as "I WILL DIE ALONE"
