Have you had a lover, girlfriend, boyfriend that had an 'addiction' that you could not tolerate, and had to end the relationship?

I had one of the prettier women in my life and one of the most sexual (she initiated anal sex with me) that had a serious alcohol problem that I could not live with and sadly I had to end the relationship after talking to her several times about it.

Fortunately, at that time, I lived in the same apartment for about six (6) years and after we broke up, my phone rang late one night (3 AM to be exact) and it was her (pretty Carol) and she wanted to tell me that she was" Now in a program, I was driving drunk, and had an accident and almost killed my 13-year-old daughter" Saddest thing I have ever heard. Had to almost kill her daughter, before getting treatment.

Dated two women that smoked, and it will probably kill them ultimately, and they refused to quit, and sneaked around and smoked behind my back to conceal their addiction.

I'm sure, we have all been there. Any comments?
