When u are about to give up on love what holds you back?

For me its those martied couple instagram reels. They give me hope where i lost it. Then i get disappointed then some other stuff pops sbout about believing in true love.

Remembering good happy times I've had, memories created, the cuddling and intimacy (I don't mean sex), the idea of being happy with my best friend forever and society standards for what a happy relationship supposedly looks like. The reality is it can be hard to let go of something you are use to and is comfortable.

I just remember how exciting love is and that it's mostly just an experience you have. If you always expect love to last forever, you may be disappointed. Lots of people are pretty inconsistent and you have to enjoy them in the moment.
