Would you be willing to die so the person you love would have a CHANCE to continue living?

The other day I saw an episode of House and there was a situation where if a husband gave up his liver his wife MIGHT live, but he would definitely die... He signed without thought.

I have someone in my life who I would do that for, and she for me... Without thought. Unfortunately we are not partners.
