My boyfriend made a post/status on Facebook saying “I owe (Ex Girlfriend’s name) the world.” It can be put into perspective and I could possibly ignore it and figure it doesn’t mean much but then I would feel like I’m being delusional because what guy who is completely over his ex and is in a new relationship would actually post something like that about his ex?

instead of thinking and assuming this or that...

bring it up, and talk to him about it...

simply ask what does that exactly mean, and listen to what he says

it is perfectly okay to talk with your partner about the things that might bother you

A. He made a bet with his boys and if he lost he had to put something like that up.


B. His shit got hacked


C. His feelings are legit, and if this is the case. You decide on what to do next

Overthinking often brings forth issues thst are self-created. Speak to him straightforwardly, but not accusatory, and clear this up.

After posting this, I did decide to ask him about it and I wish I would have kept my mouth shut and continued to overthink because she’s apparently pregnant and she’s the one who left him two months ago. He didn’t and apparently wasn’t gonna tell
me any of this and I only know now because I asked him about the post.

Okay, getting what one considers or even thinks they want, sometimes, turns out to be what one does not want to hear 👂. For me, I would rather know the truth or as much detail as I can get. I hate living in Regret due to “not doing” or “doing too quickly”. At least the Guessing is over 🤷🏻‍♂️
