Take it up with HR.
If this is in New York, we'd settle things differently.
The upper crust would say something privately like this:
"Knock it off. If you end up breaking up my marriage, I will sue you out of existence for slander."
If this was the working class:
"Keep it up and I'll slit your throat."

We don't fuck around in New York. 8 million people stay alive and don't kill each other because there is an understanding of behavior and, if you get out of line, you pay dearly and definitely - and often permanently - regret what you did. And others then know about you and know not to be like you and know not to piss off the person you pissed off.
