I know this girl from 3 months and gone out on 6 dates, when i popped up the question she said she want me as close friends because she don't want to lose me as she lost her ex ( she told me she's over him) . So i made a decision to not talking to her again, did i made the right decision?

You made absolutely correct decision of putting the woman with mixed signals in her place. You should only tolerate two answers:

1. I like you and I want to be with you as a partner

2. I do not find you attractive/ I do not like you.

Never ever tolerate "I like you but I want to be friends". Your time and efforts are precious to be wasted on women with mixed signals. Leaving such women will either help you to save your time and sanity and lead you to a higher quality woman or motivate her to take a firm and honest decision.
