Should I remove her from my friendlist?

We are living in different countries and I had a crush on her for a long time, over half a year could say.. I did tell her how I felt and she said "I dont know what to say" bust she still kept saying stuff what usually someone says when they are interested so I was really confused, well now she met a guy from her country and well I'm quite jealous about it but I still accepted it that I'm not the one and I'm very mature about it, but it still makes me quite depressed and I'm tired of the pain so I want to unfriend her, but she's very lonely and depressed irl and many people has left her so I dont know what to do because we still have become fairly good friends but I want the pain go away. Does anyone have any good advice I would appreciate it a lot.

That is a tough situation. If me, I would not unfriend her for a couple of reasons. One, you may forever lose that friendship. Is that going to be any less painful then? I don't think it will. It isn't like that arbitrary unfriending is going to change how much you think about her or heal any pain.

The second thing is that you are aware she has some mental health issues. Do you want to see her suffer worse if she takes it really hard? I doubt it. Again, what is that solving. You just add more pain.

So, I would not do it. There are much easier ways to deal with this like distance yourself from her if it is that painful. You can still have her on your list without talking as much, or at all.

Plus, you never know what the future will bring. You may throw it all the way and in a month she is single again or even moving again. You could completely throw away a second chance over something I consider kinda juvenile.

I hare to be the bearer of bad news man but you're dealing with a narcissist. The fact that she rejected you and didn't change her behavior is the sign. It's best to unfriendly her and move on with your life. And be thankful she chose that other guy. I know it doesn't seem like it but she actually did you a favor in the long run. Trust me man he didn't win a prize.

Seriously, I think we have all had those friends. For me, good friend and disappears into a guy actually. I get that-especially for her boyfriend. Happy Birthdays, Thanksgiving Christmas, Fall leaves etc…we hiked.

One day, the bottom fell out of that relationship…. contacted me.. I’m a landlord and figured a place out for her and it was not fancy.
