Why does a girl who rejected me act upset I talk to other girls?

So there was this girl I was crazy about for a year, and she ended up rejecting my plans for a date like 4 times, so I decided to let it go. We stayed friends, but things got weird. She saw me post a girl on my Facebook, just a friend I hook up with, and it was just a picture at a restaurant eating lunch, and she went nuts. I could tell if reaaaally hurt her feelings, which I don't get why if she rejected all the dates I asked her out on.

Since then, she acts so upset around me, and its awkward. I still really like her, so it hurts me too, because I would date her if I got a yes still today. Why would she be acting upset, and super distant? We were good friends, and me asking her out never made it awkward, but the photo did.

Because she doesn't want you to like someone else neither she wants you in her life... it's twisted but when we love someone we are giving them the attention and making them feel like they are important and they don't want to loose that importance hence she is getting upset if you show interest in other girls i have been in similar situation hence i know it by experience

But why reject the idea of a date like so maybe times if you don’t want them? And I texted her asking if something is up, no response but she watched my ig story later that night. My brain is in absolute confusion lol. Sucks cause I think I love her xD

Yeah, the weird thing is even after she rejected me, we were cool. We kissed one time too on a drunken night, and it was cool after that too. Now after that picture thing, she just walks by and looks the other way. But she watches all my Instagram stories, never missed one. I probably love her too, just sucks things turned out like this. What you think I should do now? Don’t really have to many girl friends so I’d like to see it from the other perspective.

Talk to her. Tell her you don’t like the girl in the pic you like her. You may still get rejected but at least this way you’ll have a clear answer.
