Romance can mean different timings to different people. For me, it is spending quality time with my partner.

But also it's when you wouldn't mind getting killed together, you would both be happy longs if together, the world can burn for all they care. It's when you make sure they are the most important. And if they do the same it shouldn't be unhealthy.
Because there is that thinking of no one is more important than yourself which is often to say to make sure you aren't letting yourself be with someone who don't treat you right.
But if both partners are treating the other most important then they will treat other right.

Romance I'd the act of showing affection for someone. It can be hibing flowers, going on ab adventure, talking, touching, sexual acts, erotica, pretty much a lot of things that shows affection. It doesn't necessarily mean sex.

Most people that always think sex, are misguided. Make it worse, nowadays, that is what has constantly been advocated as romance. But romantic acts involves a lot of things outside of sex that are an expression of affection.

Honestly I don't know. I took care of someone while sick, sleepless nights. Fed her cooked food even my portions of food as back then I was a student and with little money , not enough food, but noting was good enough ever. Personally, romance is knowing how to make your partner feel special, loved and desired, and doing that. Unfortunately in the west, it’s entirely one sided. “Romance” is all about men meeting women’s expectations.
