Romance to me is an understanding between two individuals that the intent behind what is said is not to hurt, but to provide support and substance for growth. When I say she looks voluptuous today, she knows I'm not calling her fat, when she says I'm talking a lot I know she is enjoying what I have to say. I can trust that she will be there to make me feel good and vice versa. Romance also is a show of serenity and arousal, it's a series of predetermined expectations that, when completed, typically intrigue the other party. I bring a rose, hold her tight, she wears something lovely and kisses me tender. We find each other fascinating. We can talk for hours, sometimes about nothing. And we know love exists.

the butterflies in the tummy, the creative flow, the poems, the spontaneous outings, late night conversations, cuddles , kisses, staring into the sky and not giving a care about tomor, living for today, looking past all imperfections and just seeing the total person and loving them for who they are

I think romance and love are separate but related. I would say romance is the physical attraction part, kisses, touching, flirting. And love is more connecting on a spiritual and emotional level, and really caring about the person and being willing to sacrifice for them.
