do you like when people are romantic to you? Do you like being romantic with others?

Personally I like adding a bit of romance, im not much of caring about receiving romance tho but I have a romantic side i like to show.

I’m in love with “love” in a way that might not necessarily count as what you’re asking. I’ve always enjoyed romantic stories, whether in fiction or from others, I love to share in the joy of a friend gushing over their crush that they got to date and I always enjoyed romantic stories that show how happy two people can be together.


But I’m aromantic, so I can’t really experience that myself. I never had a “crush” not in the way it’s meant to be felt, I would pick someone to have a crush on so I would be able to gush over them and hopefully love would come with time but it didn’t. I accepted relationships I had no interest in hoping love would sprout as time went on but it never did. I went through a lot of things questioning myself and how I could be considered a person if I couldn’t love someone romantically. I do love though, just in platonic ways, and it can be just as deep as romantic love. But I can’t “love” anyone in that specific way. I still love romance and I still idle my time away writing romance stories or watching romance on tv, but I just don’t love romantically. And I’m much happier with that now than I ever was before.

I am outrageously romantic. I love grand gestures, both to and from me. I love expressing my feelings for someone through actions more than words. I mean, I love saying "I love you" and hearing it, but there is something different and wonderful about leaving mushy notes, cooking his favorite meal, and just generally taking time out of my day regularly to do something for him. I would love to do things like take him on a hike and surprise him with a picnic, or surprise him with a trip.

Romance to me is more about being thoughtful and astute to your SO's wants and needs rather than doing stereotypical things.

Yup, I'm a hopeless romantic... One of the best sensation in the world is to bring a smile to someone you like...

One of my biggest "romantic leaps" was that I literally moved to other state... Just to be with a girl that I had a long distance relationship for some time...

We were became good friends after some time talking... The "joke flirting" became more constant... And... We just stated openly flirting with each other... After a few months I just out of nowhere... Decided that I would move to her city... And so I did... I was 20 :) we had a relationship for almost 6 years... Even lived together in other city.

Romantic acts create great memories... (some hurt... But most of them... Are cherished daily when I remember)

I think it'd be nice, you can even make it fun. Planning a picnic with fake candles outside, sharing a bath or shower together, making the bed nice with candles being ready to kiss & cuddle, giving flowers, chocolates, or anything nice, etc. Have yet to experience anything but I've got ideas. But pulling them off would be much tricker for a person like me.

Yes, I am a romantic person. I have seen romance only in romantic movies. In reality, I have not seen any girl with a romantic side. All I have seen is rude, bitter, unromantic, arrogant, repulsive girls in my life. Reality is different from movies, love, romance, dating, wedding and honeymoon looks so wonderful in the romantic movies. In movies they show girls are so beautiful, nice, caring and sweet. In reality, it's completely opposite. I haven't found a girl who can make me fall in love with her.
