I had a friend's date (it was their first or second date) embarrass me (being extremely rude to a waitress), and that did not fly with me. A group of friends were all going out to eat and to the movies, and he'd brought her along, and this chick was incredibly rude and condescending to the waitress, and it turned out to be the chick's fault anyway, and so I had to "disinvite her" from continuing to be in our presence. I spoke very softly, very close to her face, and impressed upon her that she needed to get up and walk away, and to not come back.

I had to do the same to a grown man on another occasion (he threw a waffle at a waitress), and he was never allowed to attend anything I was attending, and I'm pretty sure he never even wanted to share a county with me after that day.

I waited tables, and I REALLY have zero tolerance for people who give wait staff a hard time, especially when it's clearly undeserved. Bullying in general is a pretty strong trigger for me - I don't like it.

I agree ☝️ I just get sour faces and tastes in my mouth for anyone who gives a hard time or makes harsh complaints to workers. You can tell especially when they’re trying their best. Fast food and restaurant industries can be a bit much so it’s best to have some extra patience in reserve and who knows, maybe an extra ounce of food in the tank! That could help a bunch!

Short Version: My 19-year-old cousin embarrassed me at my BJJ class in front of a woman in the same class I had a bit of an attraction to by not knowing the belt system and by not realizing her voice carries and therefore putting me on the spot before I was ready to say anything.

Full Version:

Recently my younger cousin has been tagging along and sitting on the side when I attend Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes because I am trying to convince her to take BJJ. After the second time, she noticed I had eyes on a woman (Cassie) in the class. So the third time she sits in one of my classes, I end up sparring with Cassie (a purple belt on the verge of becoming a brown belt while I am a mere white belt).

Of course I am getting my ass handed to me since I am a beginner sparring against someone who can technically teach those under her. At the end of class, my cousin tells me "I bet you would get more submissions if you did not have your stupid crush on her. She is only two belts above you and I've seen you fight harder than that in your karate matches" right when Cassie was passing by. Cassie then asks me if it is true if I had a crush on her. My cousin tried to do damage control by saying she was only joking, but Cassie smiled and said she could tell I had a crush on her but that she does have a boyfriend. I apologized and told Cassie that I had nothing but respect as a fellow practitioner for her and that I would not attempt to make any moves.

Oh that is quite embarrassing. Ofc the level of a fighter is how well they use their knowledge and resource. Im sure you could surpass the higher level fighter. As far as crushing goes- only human, but can be controlled and move on from.

No one better had applied for that position, but my boss needed it filled desperately.
But not to worry:
#1 - I caused her to cry in front of her ''crew'' - just by exposing her incompetence
(that's my nasty side: cross me, and you find yourself in a war zone :) )
#2 - Boss will not allow her to directly communicate with the work force now
(that will be me instead - harr harr)
