Do you think men or women are more likely to snoop and demand passwords?

My boyfriend said it is mostly a female habit and I disagree.

I think this is such a big double standard because you always hear about women, not men, snooping through their partners' phones but as soon as it's a man doing that, he's labelled as toxic or abusive. A lot of red flags some women do are viewed as funny or feminist or whatever
