Why would a married man inquire to you about ruining your marriage after saying he's happily married?

So were both attracted to each other. He seems to be captivated by me and everything and just thinks I'm so beautiful but I just wanted to tell him how I feel I didn't think he would say anything about having an affair with me. Maybe I should of told him that I just wanted to say how I felt but I didn't say nothing about having an affair and he does. So what was he thinking about in his mind?

I take it you are both married but nonetheless attracted to each other. There will be times in marriage where you are attracted to someone else. If it becomes known or suspected by your spouse, that alone is enough to destroy a marriage as your spouse then thinks they can't trust you.

The married man has a competitive advantage over your husband and you over his wife because you are both new to each other but that doesn't mean they will be a better long term partner because of a honeymoon effect which doesn't last that long.

You are best off shutting this down ASAP and avoiding contact. You might both think you can have an affair and even tell yourselves it is ok if you are both married. If marriage is important to you than you are being a despicable person and so is he.

Gotta be careful. If he's married and you're married, best rule of thumb is to never admit feelings to each other. Once you do that, you've set the wheels in motion for an affair because now you each know there is attraction. He's basically admitting he wants you and will pursue you. Now you need to put space between the two of you or there will be cheating.
