After years of no contact.. do you feel like someone you used to date owes you a conversation or something?

A guy I dated 3+ years ago, that I haven't talked to prior to my last serious relationship and the pandemic constantly reaches out to me. I ignore this person but they keep trying. Saying that "it's not cool" that I won't talk to them or acting as if there's some sort of business opportunity they have for me.

What is up with this guys entitlement?

Has anyone else ever date with that and why do you think it happened?

I never loved him and we were never in a relationship. We dated for a few months many years ago and he's much older than I am. So now I'm confused why he won't leave me alone.

I know guys that are 43 and 52 married with kept women BUT I have never known them to hunt one from the past down. I'm not in their everyday life but i see the girls at the bar when we go kind of thing. They are high-powered and two of them have a rental occupied by lady friend. One of them... the apartment is in the same highrise where he works...
