I do. I have him trained to not leave dirty dishes/pots/pans in the sink after we make dinner. He has me trained to have emergency services pulled up on my phone if I try to fix something. What about you and your significant other?

His training list is long (it's okay for him to randomly complain about his trainer, right?) I have touched a yard implement twice in our relationship (spans nearly 22 years). I used a rake once in 2018 (big year for needle drop on our pines), and a pair of shears in 2015 (didn't want to use the mower and our house had a showing and he was out of town or something).
He also does 90% of the laundry and dishes (this is where the complaining kicks in. I will put a load of MY OWN CLOTHING in the washer-beating him to the beginning/start on " laundry day". Then I never put the clothes in the dryer. He finds them when carrying the giant hamper full of his work clothes into the laundry area. The rest is history. The kids bring their hampers down and line them up like toy soldiers. He does the rest. It's magic!
The only time I touch dishes is when he is out of town, or if we have a large crowd at the house. Somehow he doesn't complain.
I have just noticed that @bigpauly is in need of training. Perhaps you are the right person for the small job.

Definitely lowering the toilet seat after he uses my bathroom! Seriously, there is almost NOTHING worse than getting up at 3am to pee and falling into the toilet bowl! Combine that with there being almost nothing more disgusting than your butt falling into the toilet water, and the annoyance of being completely woken-up by the shower I had to take after that… yeah, I definitely trained him to put the damn seat down when finished! I first tried rubbing his nose on the toilet bowl, but he's stronger than me, so that didn’t work. I tried yelling “BAD BOYFRIEND VERY BAD BOYFRIEND” over and over, but that didn’t work! I put him in his travel-crate for a time out, that didn't work, finally I gave his “manhood” a good whack with a rolled-up news paper, and BINGO no more forgetting to lower the toilet seat!

I definitely remember that you listed a bunch of fish you own or owned, because my mom used to have tropical fish.
Well I DO have the memory of a goldfish so... That part about fishkeeping does match up.
I used to have a dog. And I still want a dog. But not for romantic attraction. Sure, if some lady in the future strikes up a convo about my dog, Ill gladly let it progress from there but thats not why I want a dog in the first place.

I think you asked “do you have any pets” or something very close to that.
As for sense of humor, I have many friends with whom I do not share a similar sense of humor. Friendships are build on mutual respect and admiration, sense of humor is WAAAY down the list of things required for a real close friendship… sure, it helps yes. But it’s not important, and most definitely not a necessity.
@xJeremyx I believe I had the Pfizer, but I’m sure the Moderna has the same risk! The effed up thing was that as rare as the vaccine induced Myocarditis is, it’s usually something that happens to young males. It’s so much more rare for it to happen in females (our most common adverse reactions seem to be blood clots and reproductive issues). So I got a massive FU from the universe on that one! My mother is a physician and trauma surgeon, and she’s the head of emergency medicine at a large hospital near their home. And she assures me that there is NO family history of cardiac disease on either side of my family. (Once that happened to me, mom began making calls to make sure! Apparently nobody in my family has ever even had a mild heard attack, going back as far as my great grandparents!) It was a complete shock! And although i cannot have another mRNA vaccine, i still recommend them for others! But I’m SO grateful to my mom for finally putting her foot down and 911’ing me to the hospital! I owe my life to her quick decision, and the Medical staff at Shands! Apparently I was SO ill, without emergency medical attention, they said I would have died within 24hrs! I gotta say THAT was a HUGE wake-up call as to both, how very fragile AND precious our lives are!
This was during my medical pre-enlistment check-up, before My ECG hardcopy suggested that I may have Acute Pericarditis. I have no idea why, but I ended up getting suspected by the cardiology dept of having Brugada's Syndrome.
Ended up undergoing an Ajmaline Provocation Test with ECG leads on me the whole time. Luckily my ECGZ results came back "neither here nor there", so I was cleared.

A test, I may have forgotten to study for, and can’t think of anything, but as soon as I read the question, the answer is just in my head. I can’t control it, and you’d be amazed what I do NOT remember. But the most obscure shit just seems to just pop in my head when i need it, even if I don’t remember ever learning it! Like when my dad was teaching me to build a Corvette engine for my Jeep, somehow I just knew the ignition firing order was 1, 8, 4, 3, 6, 5, 7, 2 when nobody had ever taught me! I’m sure I must have heard it when I was younger or something like that, and it just popped back in my head when I needed it! My brain is really strange, and I’m only now (that I’m learning about the human mind in college) am I learning that not everyone’s brain does THAT (whatever that is).
@xJeremyx Yes, I was raped on my 13th birthday, by my uncle who happened tho be my father’s twin brother! He continued to do it almost every weekday thereafter for about three months! Eventually I told my mother what he was doing after I missed my second period, and he was arrested! He killed himself before it ever went to trial, and in a subsequent civil suit I was awarded his trust fund (we all get one in my family). Anyway I don’t want HIS money, but I intend to use it open a low cost/no cost therapy center for girls (and boys) who, like me, have survived that! It was only because we could afford the very best therapy that I feel I am alive today, and able to function normally! I intend to use his millions to fund that project! To make sure NO child in the low and middle income areas of my community suffers b/c their parents cannot afford that intense, high quality therapy! So I need a psychology degree to accomplish that.

To say it really sucks is a gross understatement.
But if your therapy center would be open to both girls and guys, I would advise having separate locations for both. As well as separate hotlines and helplines if possible. I don't think female victims would cope well having to even look at males after what they go through, and male victims are likely to be traumatized too, but their perpetrators will be a mix of female and male, so it may be in their best interest to provide both male and female counsellors for them if that is the case.
Abuse in any form sucks, and I have seen firsthand the effects it can have on other people. Although I have yet to meet a person who has been raped, I personally know people who have suffered sexual abuse, and its really sad.
Empathy is a powerful tool, but it can also be destructive if left unchecked.
Your heart is in the right place. But please make sure your mind is in the right state, before starting anything. Mental health is no joke. You have to be mentally healthy before you attempt to help others.
Psychologists and counsellors are themselves often the most in need of counselling and support.

@xJeremyx Trust me I’m all TOO familiar with the intricacies of the female psyche post rape/sexual abuse/incest, sadly! It took me three years before I felt comfortable enough to join the co-ed teen group therapy session (in concert with my all female group). As for the effects status post abuse, the destruction is akin to a bomb going off in the psyche! My entire world was obliterated! 13yrs of learning right from wrong were just destroyed! Combine that with a rapist wearing my father’s face, and I just wanted to die! I could see how devastated my dad was, and I blamed myself (of course). I even took FIFTY THOUSAND milligrams of aspirin (100 x 500mg), and it worked, but by some miracle someone found me, and I was revived, but it was in my MOTHER’S trauma center (I really did NOT think THAT through! And now I was alive, all of my previous problems and issues were ALL still there, and I now felt absolutely terrible or putting my mom through

having to save her own daughter’s life, until she could be relieved! I thought I was he WORST person alive! I NEVER want another girl to go through that! But since I can’t stop it, I’ll have to pick-up the pieces afterwards! I don’t know the effects it has on boys who tend to repress and internalize, but that’s why I’ll hire specialists in male sexual assault, abuse, and rape! Besides I know I needed team of female therapists. I assume boys will need men. But the idea is in it’s infancy. There’s plenty of time, I’m only an undergrad sophomore, and money is no object! Even if it is, I always have my own trust fund to dip into.

I am the one that was trained. I was pretty clueless about having a partner. My parents had a dysfunctional relationship so I never really saw a good relationship close up. I had a long distance relationship they for 4 years was really almost like not having a relationship at all. All of a sudden I was accountable to somebody else. It was a big adjustment.
For me it was both. We both have each other "trained" in different ways. Not a bad thing though.

A few things. Keep the house warm when I come home. I need it to be warm and cozy in order to feel I’m home. Cold house gives me the feeling of cold heart, unwelcome. Now he makes sure the house is warm when we get up in the morning and when I get home. He is also starting to like having a warm and cozy home.
wakes up at the same time as me and makes me a cup of warm tea then hug and kiss before I go off to work…he writes me love cards from the heart, surprises me with flowers, set up dinner when I get home.
he is my perfect husband from gag. I love him very very much.

No I didn't need training, neither did she. I helped her because I love and respect her. When she cooks, I do the dishes ( we use paper plates and plastic utensils) . I wash and dry the clothes, she folds them and puts them away. She makes a grocery list, I'll do the shopping and we both put the food stuff away. We've been doing this from day one since we've been together. Nobody trained anyone, we work together.
