Should this be asked in a relationship?

Me and my girl of 2.5 years broke up because she stopped showing me love and respect but said i had to take her on dates to get that. I’ve taken her on dates, bought her flowers, everything a man should do up until she disrespects me with words when we argue and stopped showing me love/affection. Should being respected and loved in a relationship be bargained with taking the other out on dates.

Eventually you’ll figure out that women have certain expectations of you.


Normally, these expectations are small such as her expecting you to compliment her once in a while or other equally small gestures.


If these expectations go consistently unmet and you fail to pick up on her subtle or not so subtle hints that she’s upset, this will spiral into passive aggressive behaviors such as withholding affection.


It only gets worse and worse until the relationship ends unless the man gains the courage early on enough to ask her what is wrong and not take “I’m fine” as an answer.


Odds are, you fucked up something you did not think was significant such as missing her body language or forgetting something she had asked you to do…. different women get upset by all different kinds of reasons, so I’m just throwing random scenarios out there from situations I’ve seen in the past.


Odds are, that relationship is a lost cause of it went sour that fast.


Avoid a repeat of this in the future by making communication a necessity.(communication also weeds out the shady bitches, so don’t confuse that with rejection.)
