This screener question always eventually comes up. “What’s the longest relationship you’ve been in?”
I lie and say 1 or 2 years because I believe that most women think it’s a red flag if a guy hasn’t been able to hold down a longterm relationship.
Would most women believe that something’s fundamentally wrong with a guy in their 30’s who’s longest relationship was 6 or 7 weeks?
The length of a relationship is not really a deterrent. It is more the number of relationships that this person has had in the past that would keep me from dating that person if I was interested in dating.
However, one has to ask why this person is unable (or unwilling) to keep a relationship going for longer than a few weeks. Is it a personality issue? Is it a character problem? Are drugs or other addictions involved? Is that person toxic or does he do domestic violence? Does he have such expectations from the woman that nobody can (or will) put up with him?
Without knowing the reasons why this person cannot be in a relationship for too long, it is difficult to give a satisfying answer
But if this person just simply lacks experience, then it is not a deterrent in itself.
Yes because experience doesn’t matter. It is who the person is that matters. I do not date based on how many or length of relationships someone has. That would be ridiculous. How does one even know that unless they ask? Any girl that asks that as a “screener” question isn’t focused on things that matter.
What matters is a guy’s personality, character, morals, values, etc etc. Those are things that determine whether I will click with them enough to be in a relationship or not. If my personality/values line up with theirs, then good chance it is someone worth getting to know.
Length of their previous relationships is hardly a factor when looking at what matters to most girls. Sounds like you are meeting the wrong type of girls, however you are meeting them. I’m guessing online dating by the sound of the question and your details. I have never done online dating but haven’t heard many good things.
It depends. If you've only been in a few relationships that's not a red flag. However if you've been in like, 20 relationships and you've only been able to hold 6-7 weeks then yeah. But you also shouldn't lie, I feel like that may be part of the problem, women don't like liars.
First of all, don't lie! That makes it worse in the dating world. And it doesn't matter if you little experience, at least you're still going out there and trying to find that special person. Women (including me) would still date a man even if he has little experience. Just be honest about it.
I don't think experiance puts me off as I've only been a relationship once for 9 months. Although I feel like his characteristics, personality, how he treats people eg if he's caring, and how loyal someone is determines how a good of a boyfriend a guy will be.
u h relationship experience isn't a massive deal in my opinion especially if you're in your 30s like bit late to get some
