Girls, how have you dealt with ending a relationship with someone because of the toxicity, even though you had genuine feelings for them?

Blocking them and leaving them alone for good. It hurts like hell but it’s my only way of setting a boundary of them not having access to my life anymore, especially when one of them said that “they don’t block people because they want them to see how successful they are doing without them” probably the most toxic thing I’ve ever heard, so for my peace of mind I blocked them completely so now they can be curious of how I am doing meanwhile still never having access to me ever again

@moniqueTLC I actually didn’t because once a person pushes me to block them, it’s a clear indication that they have hurt me in some kind of way and need to be completely out of my life. It takes me a while to get to the point of blocking

my first boyfriend
i really liked him but he was so terrible if i didn't leave him it was just gonna keep deteriorating my mental health, i put up with it all for too much
it broke my heart leaving him especially seeing how quickly he didn't care and how quickly he moved on
it was a week after i left him he was with somebody new
