• Maintain a long distance communication for two months (May & June)
• Go on a destination vacation together, become exclusive, (female) quits job and moves herself and her son across the country to be with a man she has only known for two months (July)
• All three move out of the initial one bedroom condo and into a new house, met his entire family (August)

It's too fast, but that's just my love style. In my opinion, it may fail because it's not JUST about if it'd work between them, but also how the kid will play a role.

You’re simply asking whether moving at a fast pace is doomed to fail. Like that 'coachTanthony' guy said in the comments, no red flags were raised.

Perhaps it's a generational thing, but I've heard/read success stories of people getting married after just two months and being happily married for 20+ years.

Depends on their age too. I think the older you get, the more you want to cut through the shit and find someone who is on the same page as you. Both are likely to have matured and become better versions of themselves due to their previous relationships - they know exactly what they want.

Whether a relationship lasts or not totally depends on the people in the relationship, long distance or not. If you give a shit about each other and care about seeing each other, then you'll make it work. If not, then I guess it's not gonna last.

This isn't the right question. This couple needs to work hard to make it work. They've already invested a huge amount of emotion and resources into this relationship. Don't be passive -- energetically work at it so that it does work.

I would never recommend for any of this to happen but I don't see why it wouldn't. You didn't give us any red flags or concerns to comment on. So the likely answer is yes it should last.
