When my fwbs ex date whom he wanted for a year asked him to stop talking to her, he refused and kept saying hello to her.

However, when she spoke to him about fixing things and going back to how they used to be before their arguments, he agreed and followed through with her wishes.

I can't understand. He wouldn't listen to her when she asked him to stop talking and he wouldn't reply to her question which was if he wants her to go, she will exit from his life. Saying things like he will chat when he wants to, say hello.

But when she asked him to patch up, he agreed and became normal with her. He listened to her and followed her around, agreeing to her wishes.

He doesn't want her then why did he listen to her?
