Do you and your other half work in the same sector?

Curious if most people’s other halves are from the same industry and how does that affect/ not affect the relationship? My partner and I are from different sectors and I find that we actually have more to talk about.

He is in a much different sector. He was programmer with a few courses in BWL. I was sociology with focus on media. He founded his company with friends and is working know as programmer, costumer aquisition and what is closely describable as an HR department for their company. Its a small Company though.
I work as a journalist/colu nust for a local newspaper. I only work freelance though and are still focused mostly on socialmedia.

Girl I am dating and me do not but we both work mostly remotely. We both are always internet connected in some way.
