Our "household" will ideally be me and them. You don't really need a head when there's only two people and they're both reasonable adults. If I had to pick, I'd rather lead, because I'm used to being on my own. But if she really wants to lead, i wouldn't be opposed to following. Ideally though, I would hope she doesn't care too much either. I'd like to just be partners and not worry about that.
I'm already head of my household, because my wife plainly thinks that's a man job.
That said, while I might be the head of the household, she's definitely the queen of the bedroom, the kitchen and the living room - nothing can be moved or changed without her authorization.
She's also in charge of the day-to-day activities of the children - our natural daughter is still an infant, but the others (semi-adopted) are growing up fast and it's not easy to keep reigned in.
For me I I refer to share. Everyone has strengths & weaknesses but every dechsion affects everyone. I wouldn’t want either of us unilaterally making decisions that we may not be qualified to make.
What if he is the head of the household put asks of your imput on important matters, will you still not want him as the head of the household?
Men are the head of the house whole. I don't understand why cooking and cleaning makes a wife a slave. That's just means a wife is dedicated.
I Already explained myself to you regarding that. Not doing it again.

I prefer to be head of household, but I still get and value my wife's opinion. I do so because I protect and provide, therefore the final say on how to do that is with me.
As for skills. I'm a jack of all trades, and good at understanding the big picture. I'm also much more aware of the evil that's out there than my kind wife is and so I should be the one who's watching for it.
I've always said I believe in equality. I've always wanted a "partnership". But I've never been unwilling to be the "head of the household". But my only comment to that is if that's what she wants she can't have it both ways. You're either a chief or you're not. You don't get to sit back and follow and then criticize how I lead. 😆😆😆
A woman isn't suppose to lead the household unless she's a single mother. That's your job as a man.
Did you even read my post. Or just the parts you wanted to? Nobody said she was "leading".
They're the head but I get my way when I feel strongly about something.
I read you guys prefer foreigners, because your men are immature mamma's boys
@KostasKouvalis tbh it's more because a local 10 is like a foreign 7. But also that.
LMAO!
well it’s sweet you think 35 is young. I think as for my household, I would make shared decisions.
You think is old?
I’m not sure now Im heading that way. Still hesitant about it. I’ll embrace it when I get there
In my marriage we are a team, not a hierarchy. We make family decisions together.
So if your husband wants something done a certain way but you don't want that way, what happens?
We talk about it and come to a compromise as a unit. It’s like partnership.
LOL... Smh.
This really is a concept you should understand if you want to get married one day. When a couple gets married, they become a unit, a team, which means they work and make decisions together. Marriage is not a dictatorship. It's a partnership not a hierarchy.
The husband is the head of the household. Period.
That doesn't mean the husband shouldn't get his wife input and consider her perspective but it's the husband final decision is what stands.
Not in my house. In my house we are a team. If you want to be a dictator then start a business and hire some employees, not get married.
I wouldn't marry you if you were the last woman on earth. Literally.
lol no you absolutely wouldn't, because I would literally rather be burned at the stake than be forced into a marriage with someone like you.
But I have a wonderful, strong, integral man who I have chosen and who has chosen me to be his partner for the rest of our live and I truly believe that is why we have been as successful as we have so far and why our relationship has been so good.
Such an outdated concept - "Head of the Household" is from the 1950's
I'm already am the head of my household
