What do you do when your partner says you work too much?

We have all been in that situation where works pulls on us. Usually, it is cyclical. I would listen to my partner as they see performance and things that we can not. Work and Life balance stuff we have to hear all too often. Unfortunately, it is true.

That depends. Depends on why she is telling me, how long I am working, etc. IF she is right then maybe I would take her words into consideration. Maybe not. Maybe we aren't compatible see this really just depends.

Listen very seriously. Try to take an objective view of what they're saying. Ask for clarification to determine what the problem areas are. And then make change if change is warranted. Sometimes change isn't warranted but the partner's feelings are valid.
