Why is my boyfriend angry at me for saying this?

I’ve been waiting on my boyfriend a lot recently since he’s been busy with work. I said to him ‘I’m not waiting around for u anymore’ and he voice noted me really angrily saying ‘what do u mean I expect you to wait around for me for the rest of you’re life’ I’m confused? What does this mean? Why’s he so angry lol? He said he was joking after but in his voice he was very mad I said that I’m confused

Let's start out positively and think back to the first six months and do those things without notifying him that you are doing this. No unhappy, used too, and/or negative comments.

Okay, the obvious is interest loss and conversation is required AFTER trying the first 6 months happy time activities.

Do you really listen or are you speaking all the time? Are you a walk and talk into the air type person... motor mouth?-If so, then no can't handle anymore of your voice or texts... at least it is only moan and groan or cussing my name in bed sounds.

He could simply have his priorities in life wrong too...

If he really was joking then his comment may have been sarcastic banter.

“Okay, I feel like getting out of the pool.”


“Damn, really? For a second there, I thought you were gonna stay in that pool for the rest of your life.”


But if he really was angry, then your words just rubbed him the wrong way. Maybe the thought crossed his mind of you leaving him for someone else because you’re tired of waiting, and that thought made him feel angry. Then later, maybe he felt like he overreacted and then said he was just joking. Which is sort of his way of taking it back.

Yeahh he just seemed really angry but I didn’t do anything wrong I just said that ‘I don’t wanna wait around for you all the time’ because he literally leaves me waiting all night

Yeah, you were just expressing how you felt. You didn’t do anything wrong. You didn’t do anything disloyal. You just voiced your thoughts and feelings. He should have listened to you and then gave you some reassurance or talk about what he’s going to do to make up for it or fix it.

But, I bet the uncomfortable thought of you leaving him made him upset, so he sorta lashed out a bit. It’s harder to stay composed when you’re under a lot of stress.

He got used to knowing you'll be there waiting and that he could take advantage of that and doesn't want that to change

It's a guy thing to lead in the relationship in various ways. Perhaps he was insulted by your antagonistic and disloyal attitude.
