Trust is a very difficult thing to do, especially when you've had a difficult life. I, myself will never trust anyone ever again 💯, this is my own personal preference and it saves me from being completely disappointed in the long run. If they let me down, then at least I was not 💯 invested in the thought that I could trust them with ANYTHING. Because this then adds on an added burden, that I was stupid for doing so.. Having said that, it doesn't mean that there aren't people whom I do trust, but I think it is foolish to trust anyone, no matter how much they mean to you, or how reliable they are, with "your life" - so to speak?
Yes, but it probably isn't how the question is geared. At the firehouse you trust your brothers and sisters that they will have your 6 and you will have theirs. Our lives can depend on it. As an officer they have to trust my decisions, and I have to trust that they will carry out my commands so that everyone goes home. Fire scenes are very dynamic, and things can go bad quickly so if you see something that they don't see you have to trust them that they will do what you tell them to do, and they have to trust you to see what is happening and to make those calls.
The reason why trust is so difficult is because the other person must be:
1) Consistent - your words and actions and words have to match 2) Credible - you have to believe in what they are saying 3) Intimate - you must be able to vulnerable to each other, which can be scary 4) Selfless - you must be willing to put your own needs aside for another person
This is why people go to church and talk to Jesus, because no one can possibly live up to this standard 100% of the time.
Yes, I got aomeone I hate, that I know all too well, and I know I can trust them becouse there easy to read, and know every step they take, they can't ever surprise me and I know them too deep to miss a beat So I trust them becouse I understand them
Beside that I trust most of my friends, and try to always work on 99% at start till someone show something that tilt that scale Over all my rule is that I trust someone olny as far as I can punch them 😜
No, I do not trust anyone a 100% as that would be stupid. WE are all capable of failure and to set someone up on a pedestal like that is to assure that they will fail. Trust and watch with an acute sense of attention.
There are a few people I trust 100%, yes. Among them are my wife and my best friend. They have never let me down. Ever. Always told me the hard truth. Always been there for me. Stayed by my side even when I was way less than 100%. Always gave me reasons to trust them. Never judged me.

I can completely identify with that due to my experience growing up you have friends you have known for years and then in a split second when tough times come around they might turn their back on you or throw you under the bus for their own benefit. i look at people as associates and the only people i trust is close family members
Just one. Others I trust to varying degrees, but only one I would completely trust in anything without question or hesitation. There's nothing under heaven I wouldn't do for him, even if it meant killing my hard line ideals and morals.
Of course not. Everyone i’ve ever trusted completely let me down or took advantage of me. I would have to be a fool to put myself through that again.
My parents. I’ve never felt any reason to distrust them, and know they love me as much as I love them. I don’t have many other people in my life right now.
