Being an adult is adapting. Part of that adaption is realizing people will do things to survive. Even good people. Everyone is capable of good and bad. Life puts everyone into positions where you are forced to take the easy way out or stick to your guns and morals. Often times that choice is harder than you expect until in that position.

Trust is the ability to understand, except and forgive a person if they can be honest with you through that process which is not easy thing on either side.

Is a person worthy of trust is a better Q.

I trust very, very few individuals. I used to trust people when I was younger, but after some really bad experiences, I stopped. There's only one person in this world who I could trust with my life, and that person is a close friend and like a brother to me.

Yes... unless there is a good reason not to.

Only untrustworthy people do not trust others off hand. Mainly, as they see themselves in others, instead of others as they are.

Not saying you are an utter untrustworthy bastard, but you come across as mentally unfit.

Depends. If I see indications something benefits a person I'm willing to believe they tell the truth at some extent. However not always and it's very situational.

I used to trust more people then after getting screwed over multiple times I became a bit jaded, but in my mind a new person should be given a benefit of the doubt, dont dump old baggage from former people on to the new people , but proceed with caution, look out for warning signs they are always there
