I cheated when I was 22, because I was only concerned about my own happiness and seeking fast meaningless pleasure.

I loved my girlfriend, but I didn't give a shit about her feelings and how that would affect her if she found out. I just wanted to fuck more girls. Have my cake and eat it too! I was living the dream and on a fast track to kingdom come!

Then I got a little older and all the sudden something snapped...
"Holy shit.. what did I do? I love this girl, I don't want to hurt her!"
I finally started caring more about her feelings and making her happy than chasing my own selfish pleasure.
I suddenly became a lot less selfish and realized that time I fucked a girl in the same hotel room I rented for me and my girlfriend when she got off work, makes me a lying, cheating, filthy rotten fucking dirt bag who deserves to die.

I never cheated again after that and I never will.
The point is... some people never have that epiphany
